Emily is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music (CCM), where she earned a BFA in Musical Theater. An alum of the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, also majoring in theater, Emily is extensively trained in classical and Musical Theater. She has also studied at well-known studios such as Trinity Rep Training Program (Providence, RI), HB Studio (NY, NY), The Moment Workshop (NY,NY) and T. Schreiber Studio (NY, NY).
At CCM, Emily was given the opportunity to study and participate in a wide variety of musical theater genres, from 'Peter Pan' to 'American Idiot' and everything in between. Directly after graduation, Emily received her Equity Card, playing Sophie in Mamma Mia!
Emily has had wonderful experiences at regional and summer stock theater companies across the country.
Since the pandemic, with live theater indefinitely on hold, Emily has utilized this pro-longed 'intermission' to create her own performing arts studio from the ground up. Starting with one voice student, Emily's studio has grown quickly within only a few months. She now works with over 50 students from all over the country, teaching dance, acting and voice lessons. Emily specializes in children's theater arts education, but works with all ages and skill levels.
